Past Life Regression
My fascination with past lives began as I read historical novels by Taylor Caldwell in the early 1970’s. She had been working with a hypnotherapist who facilitated past-life regressions with her. I remember reading about one notable regression in which she returned to a life during which she, as a Jewish woman, had met Jesus of Nazareth. The therapist at one juncture asked her if that man Jeshua had a beard. “Of course he has a beard. All men have beards!” These remarks, spoken by this Jewish woman of that time, bore the ring of authenticity. The answer to that question must have been as obvious as the answer to “Does he wear sandals?”
In the early 1990 I began hypnotherapy training. I was impressed by the ease at which people, using hypnosis, could remember important material from their past-lives. Most of my clients just need a light trance-like state to experience past life memories.
Since those years, I have conducted over a hundred past-life regressions. Each one was unique and authentic, bringing true insight and self understanding.
Past life regression is like dipping a long ladle into a well. The longer the handle, the deeper one travels into those memories of events from the past. It depends on what we are after. Sometimes the handle is short. We may be seeking important events from a lifetime as recent as the 1960’s or 70’s. And, I have witnessed clients regress to almost any period in history-Modern, Renaissance, Medieval, ancient Roman and Egyptian, even Cave-Dwelling. Sometimes past life memories recovered under meditative awareness do not even seem to have an Earth-based orientation at all. There are no limits to Soul memory.
More than a reading, an interactive past-life regression is an authentic experience.
The experiences can be so compelling that no outside authority is needed to validate the insight or information one receives. This deepens self knowledge.
Cindy, upon her return from her interactive trance, recognized immediately why she had always hated uniforms and anything related to military. Her regression took her to 1930’s Dresden, Germany. As a young German girl, she remembered played happily with playmates. However, one year all the neighborhood boys were sent went away to attend youth camps. “They all return wearing uniforms, so serious. And they never smile any more.” Her next memory was of her city being firebombed. Subconsciously, she associated uniforms with anger and death.
For many, past-life events are re-entering their consciousness. Soul patterns are emerging, seeking healing, integration and expression. There are talents that we have developed in past-lives seeking to be activated and used again. There is also wisdom to remember, gained from the experiences of many lifetimes.
